Very cozy with the most comfortable chairs far and wide. :-) The food was delicious and they are very knowledgeable about allergies and intolerances (gluten ...).

Fantastic food, very nice staff! Thanks to the sign on the main road, we passed here and we haven't regretted it a bit. It was still 30 minutes before it opened, but we were allowed to go to the beer garden and get drinks😍 I can only recommend it!

Very nice location up on the hill. Food was truly delicious and they serve a different menu each day. Very high quality. And the owner and staff were very friendly. A bit more expensive than a regular gasthof, but definitely worth it!

As a guest in the beer garden, I was even greeted with a friendly smile shortly before the actual opening time! Here you feel very welcome. The delicious food probably comes from the in-house butcher. Highly recommended place!

Every month in the Allgäu we discovered the "Kirchberger" for very good food! The creative and (for Allgäu :)) light cuisine with fresh herbs is a must for us! Game is skillfully prepared - fish is a pleasure! The "boys" still promise an exciting culinary future .....

Lovely hostel! We were in September / 2019 with my husband and 3 children aged 07.11 and 13 years old. We were welcomed very carefully, the apartment we stayed in was comfortable and clean, it had 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. Best food of the whole trip, they met all our requests regarding food and at the farewell we were also presented with 2 beautiful beer mugs as a souvenir; I felt at home! I recommend it to everyone and will be back when possible.

Good hotel with comfortable bedroom and an excellent breakfast. Just wish that we had been staying on a day that their restaurant was open.

I slept here overnight with my family, in a touristic trip in southern Bavaria. The Gasthof is located in a small village, where agriculture is the predominant activity. It's not easy to find it and a GPS navigation system might be very helpful; on the other hand, you may take peace and silence for granted. The Gasthof hasn't private parking, but it's easy to find a place to park in the outside. The family running the hotel is friendly, but we only found one person able to speak English, so knowledge of German is beneficial. Gasthof has no reception, therefore you must ring a bell and wait in a corridor, has it was centuries ago. Rooms were spacious, warm and clean. Restaurant serves local cuisine, tasty and very well prepared. Breakfast was also very pleasant.
